It's an easy word to say and to throw around. But what does it really mean?
Recognize that every individual is uniquely perfect;
Express and receive input from each other, but don't take it personally;
Stop accepting anything less than the best for yourself and for those that are in our family;
Practice empathy by trying to put yourself in the shoes of another;
Encourage all individuals and their ideas and the expression of their individual selves and passions;
Celebrate everything, even the baby-steps, that you take; and,
Treat others with kindness and how they would like to be treated
It's important to remember that the lives that each of us touch, deserve respect. Stop by sometime and check us out because there is always room at our table... all that we ask is that you show us RESPECT.
