Incumbent is responsible for the overall clinical supervision of the clinician and diagnostic team who is also responsible for providing individual therapy and maintaining a productivity of 10 hours per week. Conducts clinical diagnostic assessments; treatment plans; crisis management and clinical training with staff where needed. Collaborates with intake staff, clinical managers in tracking client assignments to ensure continuity of care.

The Certified Addictions Counselor is responsible for providing chemical dependency services to patients under the supervision of the Program Director/Clinical Manager from the ages of 5-65+ that are congruent with the philosophy and standards of practice defined by the Nursing Department. Also supports and maintains the program philosophy, goals, and objectives. The Certified Addiction Counselor, a member of the SUD Program Team, provides critical Addiction/Substance Use Disorder Case Management, Clinical and referral services to clients referred to MBI’s SUD Program in a manner that reflects MBI’s mission. The Certified Addiction Counselor works with all populations served.

Seeking an LGSW or LPC with mental health clinical training and experience to implement Multisystemic Therapy (MST), which is a well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families. Therapist will be responsible for providing structured, ethical and culturally sensitive clinical counseling in accordance with the District of Columbia license and certification standards for mental health services in an outpatient facility. Provides counseling, reviews, and assessments for individuals served. This position must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the agency and its overall success.

Provides health care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks and other related support services essential to the consumer’s health. Observes, record and reports all changes to supervisor. Must demonstrate competence in performing the necessary skills and only perform those skills on the plan of care.

The ACT Clinical Manager directs the operations of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Services Team. The Team Leader supervises a team comprised of a nurse, generalist position, addictions professional and recovery specialists for at least 80 consumers. The team is responsible for providing Assertive Community Treatment Services (ACT) in accordance with the Dartmouth Fidelity Model (1998) the needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to ACT consumers with mental illnesses. The ACT Team Leader evaluates the team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure excellence through courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program consumers.

Responsible for leading, managing, overseeing and developing all aspects of the MHRS assigned clinical site in accordance with the agency’s mission, objectives and strategic goals, including result oriented and person-centered service delivery practices to the District Residents. The Clinical Site Director is expected to effectively manage his or her site using data to inform his or her decisions and to guide his/her staff. Site Directors will model positive and supportive attitudes toward the consumers, employees, and the agency and contribute to its overall success. Site Directors must also possess the ability to think globally, work in a team-based environment, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.

Care Coordinators work directly with a licensed clinical manager that provides the full array of community support services which includes, but is not limited to assisting individuals in care to develop self-management and daily living skills, increasing social support skills. Care Coordinators provide assistance to the Clinical Manager, coordinating care and serving as an additional support to the consumers and other members of the treatment team.
